MPUMALANGA SPORT AWARDS
Rules, terms and conditions of participating
These terms and conditions together with any specific rules set out in Mpumalanga Sport Awards Rule Book (as defined below) are the Competition Rules ("Rules") and apply to Mpumalanga Sport Awards featuring Mpumalanga Sport Confederations (MPSC), Department of Culture, Sport and Recreation (DCSR) and Mpumalanga Sport Awards NPC (MPSA). By entering Mpumalanga Sport Awards, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules.
Rules specific to each category are displayed on the MPSA website on the page for such Categories. In the event of discrepancy between these terms and conditions and the Rulebook, the terms and conditions shall prevail.
The DCSR, MPSC and MPSA reserves the right to cancel or amend any Category without notice if nominees in the category;
do not meet the criteria,
did not provide sufficient portfolio of evidence to support their nominations
the quality or standard of performance achieved by nominees in the category do not meet required standard
MPSA Team will only communicate with the last three finalists in each category, and in the event that any nominees not being contacted by the Team, nominees must accept that their nominations did not reach the last stage of finalists
In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to Mpumalanga Sport Awards, the decision of the Adjudicators, and/or judge(s) shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
Qualifying Entrants
To qualify to enter the Competition you must be identified through the wording of the Mpumalanga Sport Awards as a nominee.
Employees of MPSC, the DCSR and MPSA or any associated company of MPSC, the DCSR and MPSA and their immediate families, persons connected with the competition/prize draw and their immediate families i.e. prize sponsors, newsagents, wholesalers & their agents are not eligible to be nominated in Mpumalanga Sport Awards.
Sport Administrators employed by the Department of Sport, Department of Education, Education Institutions, Local and District Municipality at any level, sport organization or institutions receiving a salary for the work related to sport and/or recreation are not eligible to be nominated in the category of Administrator or Technical Official or any category where performance is not measured by winning medals.
Sport teams, organisations or individuals who won categories in the previous year are not eligible to be nominated in the following year in order to give other nominees an opportunity to participate. (A cooling off period of three (3) years must be allowed before one can be allowed to be nominated again)
By entering the Competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. MPSC, the DCSR and MPSA reserves the right to verify all the information submitted in the portfolio of evidence by nominees or their nominators.
MPSC, the DCSR and MPSA reserves the right to disqualify any nominee if it has reasonable grounds to believe that the entrant has breached any of the rules
In the event that any nominee is disqualified from a category MPSC, the DCSR and MPSA in its sole discretio
